The system consists of 20 kg powder and 10 kg liquid and is suitable for balconies, terraces and showers. It is easy to mix and forms a crack-bridging, secure seal for heavily loaded surfaces.

wedi 520 is a flexible 2-component waterproofing compound used to create watertight substrates beneath tiled surfaces. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor areas, such as balconies, terraces, wet rooms and showers. Thanks to its high flexibility and crack-bridging properties, it provides maximum security on heavily loaded surfaces.
How do you mix and apply wedi 520?
The set consists of 20 kg powder and 10 kg liquid. Both components are easily mixed into a smooth and homogeneous paste. This paste is then applied evenly to the substrate. Once dry, the product forms a strong, elastic and waterproof layer that is immediately suitable for tiling.
What is the consumption of wedi 520?
Average consumption is 4.2 kg/m² for surface waterproofing. For joint or seam sealing, consumption is approx. 0.42 kg/m². The product is recommended in combination with wedi Subliner Dry & Flex to ensure maximum waterproofing performance and system reliability.
