Not every bathroom allows for a standard shower floor build-up. Low floor depths, existing constructions or restricted installation heights require a smarter solution. The wedi Fundo Plano has been specifically designed for these situations. Thanks to its ultra-slim design, prefabricated slope and integrated waste, it delivers a safe and predictable shower solution – without wet screeds or long drying times.

100% waterproof and ready for tiling
The core of the Fundo Plano is made from extruded polystyrene (XPS) with a closed-cell structure. This material is completely waterproof and does not absorb moisture. The surface is finished with a robust, fibre-reinforced mortar layer, allowing tiles to be installed directly. The factory-formed slope (≥ 2.4%) ensures reliable drainage towards the point waste.
Integrated waste – compact and standards-compliant
The Fundo Plano is supplied as a complete system with an integrated horizontal DN40 waste. This waste complies with DIN EN 1253 and offers a drainage capacity of approximately 30 litres per minute. The compact waste design keeps the overall installation height to a minimum, making this tray ideal where floor build-up is limited.
