Load-bearing and waterproof PET foam core
The core of the wedi Fundo Solido consists of high-strength PET foam with a closed-cell structure. This material is completely waterproof, does not absorb moisture and can withstand high point loads. As a result, the shower tray is suitable for intensive use, including wheelchair access and high-traffic sanitary areas. In addition, the PET foam is made from 100% recycled material, contributing to a sustainable and future-proof bathroom solution.
Central drain and integrated slope
The Fundo Solido features a central drain position and is supplied with a precisely integrated prefab slope. This ensures controlled and reliable water drainage without the risk of pooling. The shower tray is supplied without a drain, allowing the correct DN-50 Fundo Solido drain to be selected according to the installation situation and project requirements.

Part of a complete floor system
