The wedi Mensolo L-element is a ready-made corner profile that allows you to box in pipes, risers, drains and other technical areas quickly, neatly and fully waterproof. Thanks to its robust XPS core and the double-sided, glass-fibre-reinforced mortar layer, the element provides a reliable, directly tileable surface — perfectly suited for tiles, mosaics and cement-based finishes.
The L-shape is ideal for both renovation and new builds: lightweight, dimensionally stable, easy to work with and fully compatible with the complete wedi system.
Prefabricated precision: always clean, fast and accurate
The Mensolo L-element saves considerable installation time because corners no longer need to be built manually on-site. The factory-made precision ensures a perfectly square 90° angle, ideal for tiles and small formats such as mosaics. Bonding with wedi 610 is sufficient to achieve a strong, waterproof construction.

The Mensolo L-element is used both functionally and creatively. Common applications include:
