Prefab wall element with factory-integrated Sanwell niche
The Sanwell niche is factory-integrated into the wall element and precisely positioned. This guarantees that the niche is perfectly square, correctly aligned and fully waterproof. On-site measuring, cutting and complex sealing are eliminated, reducing installation time and the risk of errors. The niche has a fixed size of 300 × 600 mm and is suitable for tiling or finishing with Sanwell Top or Sanwell Top LED surfaces.
XL and XXL versions for maximum flexibility
The Sanwell wall element is available in two widths. The XL version has a width of 900 mm, while the XXL version measures 1200 mm. Both versions have a fixed height of 2500 mm and a thickness of 100 mm. If required, the element can easily be cut to size to perfectly fit the space and design requirements.
Fast installation without traditional framing
Thanks to its prefab construction, no traditional stud or frame structure is required. The wall element is installed and bonded using wedi 610 adhesive and sealing compound. The supplied building boards allow for flexible adjustment of the niche layout and wall finish. Once installed, the element is fully waterproof and ready for further finishing.
Expandable with Sanwell Top finishes and wall modules
For a seamless and low-maintenance finish, the integrated niche can be completed with a wedi Sanwell Top or Sanwell Top LED. These joint-free design surfaces provide a clean alternative to tiles and integrate perfectly with the Sanwell wall element. The wedi range also includes separate Sanwell niches and complete wall modules with integrated niches.
