The tray is supplied with a factory-formed slope but allows you to choose the waste solution yourself – horizontal or vertical, central or offset. As part of the complete wedi system, the Fundo Primo provides a reliable, waterproof and tile-ready base for a wide range of bathroom designs.
Freedom in size and waste positioning
Every bathroom is different. That is why the wedi Fundo Primo is available in a very wide range of sizes, from compact shower layouts to extra-large walk-in showers. In total, more than 20 size variations are available, in both square and rectangular formats. The waste can be positioned centrally or offset, depending on the chosen waste and installation requirements.

Prefabricated slope and 100% waterproof base
Like all wedi Fundo shower trays, the Primo features a factory-formed slope that ensures reliable water drainage towards the waste. The core is made from extruded polystyrene (XPS) with a closed-cell structure, creating a fully waterproof base that does not absorb moisture. The surface is finished with a robust, fibre-reinforced mortar layer and is ready for tiling immediately.
Waste selected separately – horizontal or vertical
The wedi Fundo Primo is supplied without a fixed waste, giving you full freedom to select the most suitable wedi waste solution. In most installations, a DN50 waste is used, either horizontal or vertical. Where installation height is limited, a DN40 waste can also be applied. Both round and square waste covers are available, depending on the selected waste.

Extendable with slope boards for floor drainage
A key advantage of the Fundo Primo is the option to extend the shower tray with matching wedi slope boards. This allows the surrounding bathroom floor to be integrated into the slope towards the shower area, creating optimal water management and a clean, threshold-free finish.
Fast installation for renovation and new builds
The Fundo Primo is lightweight and easy to handle. It can be installed on almost any load-bearing substrate and trimmed on site if required, while maintaining geometry and slope. When combined with wedi sealing systems, it forms a durable and fully waterproof shower solution for both renovation and new-build projects.
